A Winter's Heart

(November 2007)

Download Mixtape

Another for this cold and miserable season, another from a time passed. With plenty of Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Patrick Watson, Micah P. Hinson, and more, and did I mention covers too, yes, there's covers of some dear and beautiful songs that also exist alongside with their originators.

For an easy-going time, whether you feel like being lonely or in the company of someone special this winter.

For The Dead Days of Winter

(December 2006)

Download Mixtape

This time around I'm going even further back to year 2006. This mix is part of a series of trip-hop and the like, tapes (cds) I made while working on my own music for the genre.

For a relaxing time, whether that is riding on a train, or walking on a snowy day, or even for going to sleep, I recommend this pup for all of the above, and for you to create new scenarios with.

Enjoy.

When You're Here

(Nov. 12th, 2008)

Download: When You're Here

Something more mellower, something more fuller in atmosphere, it's a real good one to dim the lights, light some candles, have a p.y.t.* over, and just look in each other's eyes for a long time. This puppy goes from electro-rock to dream pop to folk, all sorts of reverb, and echoes. ...this baby is one of my favorites, and it takes me to a good place every time, and now it's time to take you away on somewhere nice (just make sure to bring a p.y.t.).

OVER THE HILL (under the bridge)

Let's Get This Party Started.

Hello. This is new, this place, that is, and it is the home of my many mixtapes I've made for others, sometimes for individuals and sometimes for a bunch of others, but now in this context, for anyone, friends or strangers. I will avoid going on how much I put into each mix, but will explain, there are many influences for my mixtapes, and they're usually the people I encounter.

This week I wanted to start with latest.
